Inspectors of the Prikamsky and Priiksky administrations, together with all residents of Tatarstan who are not indifferent to nature, planted trees in Mendeleevsk and in the rural settlement of Bizyaki in the Bavli district. Over 3,000 people took part in these two events alone.
The campaigns were held in the format of a large-scale family ecological festival "Urman-Fest".
The organizers have prepared a rich program for the participants: a master class from foresters on tree planting, a field kitchen, performances by musical and dance groups, animators for children. All participants were able to contribute to the greening of Tatarstan, many came with the whole family.
"Planting trees is not just an act of charity towards nature, but also an investment in the future of our planet," said Kamil Nazmiev, head of the Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology.
About 50 thousand seedlings of coniferous trees were planted in the Bavli district on an area of 18 hectares, and about 70 thousand seedlings were planted in the Mendeleevsky district.
Let us recall that the UrmanFest eco-festival has been held in the Republic of Tatarstan since 2020. Today, more than 300,000 trees have been planted. Over 5,000 volunteers are involved in the campaign. The main goal is to replenish and preserve natural resources and involve society in improving the environment.
It is important to note that the organization of such events corresponds to the goals and objectives of the federal project "Forest Conservation" of the national project "Ecology".
