The Ministry of Ecology congratulates everyone on this holiday and thanks our most caring environmental defenders for their help – children. The number of participants in environmental and educational campaigns and events is growing every year.

This became possible thanks to the retrofitting of two mobile environmental laboratories of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with modern ecological and analytical equipment for automatic determination of formaldehyde concentrations.

As part of the environmental monitoring of the Tetyushsky district, inspectors of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed the fact of unauthorized storage of production and consumption waste. Clutter was recorded on the territory of the village of Uryum. The landfill area was 579 sq. m., the volume was 86 cubic meters.m.

Specialists of the Zakamsky TA conducted a lesson for the kids from kindergarten No. 27 of the Nizhnekamsk district, where they demonstrated and told about what trees and shrubs grow in our zone.

Let us recall that unauthorized storage of mercury lamps on the territory of the Sultan-Ai settlement in Kazan was revealed by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry after residents reported on social networks. The total area of the contaminated site was 30 sq.m. A warning about the disposal of the landfill was issued to the owner of the site.

In fair contest, the most active areas were determined in three groups.

Today, at the traditional republican meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers, Alexander Shadrikov reported to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on the results of the sanitary and environmental two-month period. Let us recall that it started on the first day of April and within two months residents of the Republic, municipalities, environmental services, enterprises and organizations actively joined the work to restore order. 

Today Alexander Shadrikov took part in the round table of the Scientific Center for Eurasian Integration. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration of Russia, the Russian Academy of Sciences, including the head of the Center, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on Global Environmental Problems Stepan Kalmykov.

The final stage of the competition of environmental scientific, practical and research works within the framework of the Republican conference "PROeco" was held today. 80 works came to the competition from schoolchildren, 38 projects in three nominations reached the final: "Minimizing negative impact on the environment", "Flora and Fauna of the Republic of Tatarstan", "Social Ecology". The finalists defended their works in front of experts today.  Three winners were announced in each nomination.

Registration of participants for the student eco-quest "Water.Online" 3.0, which is supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia is open. The organizer of the project is the Federal Agency of Water Resources.
