The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting on the creation of the Center for the Conservation of Biological Diversity "Snow Leopard" in the Altai Republic. The project will be a continuation of the Tatarstan Center for the Study of Rare Species of cats.

 From June 3 to June 10, the expenses of these waterworks will be increased to 9000-10000 cubic meters/s and 8500 ± 500 cubic meters/s, respectively. The changes were made due to the intensive filling of the Kuibyshev reservoir.

 

A large fire that broke out in the morning in Naberezhnye Chelny on the territory of the warehouse of the Altyn Polymer enterprise on Avtoremontnaya Street has been localized, the main directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan reported.

The state ecological expertise on the object "Draft Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan "On approval of the limit of hunting resources extraction in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period from August 1, 2022 to August 1, 2023" has been completed.

This evening, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a message from caring residents of Kazan, who again noticed foam in the drainage channel of the Privolzhsky district. Specialists of the territorial department of Rosprirodnadzor promptly left to visit the place.

A new visitor center has been opened in the Borovets Forest on the basis of the Ship Grove tourist complex of the Lower Kama National Park. The event was held on the eve of World Environment Day.

Since June 1, specialists of the Ministry of Ecology, together with employees of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, have been checking the exhaust gases of cars for the level of dangerous pollutants.

The ECA movement invites everyone to join the Eco-yard project competition. Its participants are offered to organize exciting events for neighbors dedicated to competent waste management and other eco-practices. The winners of the contest will receive up to 35,000 rubles.

The championship was held from April 23 to May 15. More than 10.5 thousand people from 87 settlements of Russia participated in the tournament. In total, more than 226 tons of garbage were collected during the competition. The Tatarstan team of volunteers from Nizhnekamsk became the winner of the championship "Spring Cup of Cleanliness of Russia", organized by the eco-project "Clean Games". The second and third places were taken by teams from Perm and Solikamsk.
