Today Alexander Shadrikov summed up the results of the 60-day eco-marathon of cleanliness
Today, at the traditional republican meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers, Alexander Shadrikov reported to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on the results of the sanitary and environmental two-month period. Let us recall that it started on the first day of April and within two months residents of the Republic, municipalities, environmental services, enterprises and organizations actively joined the work to restore order.
From the very first days, numerous environmental campaigns, mass clean-ups, environmental lessons have been held in cities, districts and towns.
In total, 755 thousand people took part in the events within the two-month period. More than 19 thousand pieces of equipment were involved.
510 thousand cubic meters of waste (509,741) were taken to landfills, this is 34 thousand KAMAZ trucks with garbage.
Municipalities have planted more than 760 thousand trees and shrubs, and enterprises and organizations - about 540 thousand.
The equator of the sanitary marathon was marked with a republican clean-up day. At the end of April, it was held simultaneously in all cities and districts. More than 41 thousand cubic meters of waste were collected, 253 thousand people took part. The Minister of Ecology thanked all residents of the Republic for such activity: "Tatarstan residents have traditionally actively responded to the call to come out for cleaning. Thank you all for your help and caring!"
Traditionally, within the framework of the national project "Ecology" Tatarstan takes an active part in the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia". The central event in the marathon of these events was the campaign dedicated to the Volga Day. At the same time, the event was held in Kazan, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod and Samara. Kazan took the first place in the number of participants of this campaign. Let us remind you that last year Tatarstan became the absolute winner at the end of the year.
Tatarstan citizens also showed activity by reporting environmental violations to the environmental reception.
In two months, almost 3,500 requests (3,455) were received through all communication channels. Most of the appeals are in the category of "Landfills".
For example, 654 Tatarstans complained about unauthorized landfills only through the "People's Control".
And if in 30 municipal districts such applications are resolved in a timely manner, then in 15 districts today there are unresolved complaints. The Minister of Ecology noted those cities where problems have not been solved for years and asked to focus attention and eliminate such landfills - "long-livers".
"We should not hope that such negative examples will be ignored. Let me remind you that our inspectors are also joined by volunteers, including schoolchildren - the most caring eco-defenders of the environment. A generation is growing up who care about environmental issues, and they know what is "good" and what is "bad". Confirmation - the competition "School eco-patrol". This year, after conducting an analysis, we state that the guys are more active than ever. Since the beginning of April, almost 2.5 thousand notifications have been received from them, which is 2 times more applications than for the whole of last year," said Alexander Shadrikov and the activity of schoolchildren this year.
Thanks to the residents, the Minister of Ecology also voiced the anti-heroes of this two-month period.
So, residents of Kazan have repeatedly complained about the peculiar smell and pollution of the roads of the capital. As it turned out, the Kazan branch of the Brewing Company AB InBev Efes JSC, as a result of violation of the rules for the transportation of wet spent grains waste, allowed it to flow onto the surface of roads along the route.
Another negative example, for which a criminal case has already been initiated, is the dumping of a toxic substance and the disposal of industrial waste in the village of Yekaterinovka in the Yutazinsky district. On this occasion, the decision of the Commission for Emergency Situations and Fire Safety of this area decided on the need for immediate reclamation of this site with excavation and further disposal.
And on the territory of the Sovetsky district on the lands allocated for large families, unauthorized placement of solid municipal waste was revealed. This case, like the previous one, received a great response in the media. The Ministry has sent letters to law enforcement agencies on this fact. The damage caused to the environment amounts to 137 million rubles.
In total, as a result of supervisory activities during the two-month period in the republic, 7,044 violations were detected, 3,348 violators were brought to administrative responsibility.
3,888 places of unauthorized waste disposal have been eliminated, which is 85%.
The Minister of Ecology also reported on the results of joint raids with Russian Railways along the railway tracks and on air raids.
At the end of his speech, Alexander Shadrikov thanked the media. Journalists promptly went on visits with the Ministry's inspectors and recorded violations. In two months 420 articles were published and 40 stories were published.
