Studies were carried out on zooplankton indicators. Zooplankton are microscopic organisms (rotifers and crustaceans) that live in the water column and are not capable of active movement. According to the state of the zooplankton community, it is possible to identify violations that occur in the ecosystem.

Not far from the village of Karakashli, a Scania fuel tanker overturned into a ditch, resulting in a leak of crude oil. Inspectors together with employees of the Environmental Supervision Department promptly went to the site and took soil samples. The total area of contamination was 25 sq.m. Oil spill response equipment, rescuers and an ambulance also arrived at the scene of the accident. The driver was taken to the hospital.

During the monitoring within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period in the village of Shapkino, ecologists of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan discovered an unauthorized landfill. The area of illegal waste storage was 700 sq.m.

Today, PJSC Ak Bars Bank hosted a meeting on the integration of the principles of sustainable development into the procurement activities of the state and corporations. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Ecology Olga Manidicheva, as well as representatives of large Tatarstan companies and leading universities of the Republic.

The message of Kazan residents on social networks about the storage of fluorescent lamps in the village of Sultan-Ai was confirmed. Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry carried out a visit. During the survey of the territory, unauthorized storage of waste (presumably in the form of mercury or neon lamps) was found near the house on Yasmin Street. The total area of the contaminated site was 30 sq.m., the volume was 1 cubic meter.

Specialists of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out a trip to the shore of the Lokomotiv beach. The fact of unauthorized storage of waste of side stones, paving stones and cobblestones was confirmed.
