During the international economic forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum 2023" on May 18 and 19, the research vessel "Flamingo" automatically analyzes water samples of the Kazanka rivers. The results are displayed in real time. To enhance environmental monitoring of the Kazanka River water area, continuous research is carried out on the following indicators: nitrite ions, iron, phosphate ions, chloride ions, manganese ions, phenol, soluble petroleum products, sulfate ions, turbidity, oil film, redox potential, dissolved oxygen, hydrogen index and temperature.

In the Arsky district, 1,590 people took part in clean-ups within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. 1579 cubic meters of garbage were removed – this is 157 KAMAZ trucks. More than 20 thousand shrubs and trees were planted. One of the last clean-ups in the Arsky district took place this weekend. Creative teams, organizations and eco-activists came out to clean the territory.

Today at KazanForum, Tatarstan Ecology Minister Alexander Shadrikov spoke at the session "In the footsteps of the snow leopard: the disappearance and restoration of rare animal species".

The ecological festival "Awakening" was held in the square named after A. Gulyaev. Every year this campaign unites the most active schoolchildren and residents of the district who are simply not indifferent to the environment. The head of the Volga-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafis Akhmetzyanov also took part in the traditional holiday. Master classes, intellectual games, a rich and interesting cultural program were organized for the guests. In addition, the young talents of the Children's Art School demonstrated the eco-fashion, presenting a collection of bright costumes from recycled materials.

A round table "Green economy as a strategy of adaptation to climate change" was held at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. Deputy Minister of Ecology Olga Manidicheva, employees of state bodies of the Republics of Tatarstan and Belarus, scientists and representatives of educational organizations took part in it.

Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Russian Federation Mohammed Mahmoud Dahi in the framework of the International Economic Forum "Russia — the Islamic World: KazanForum".
