The Ministry of Ecology held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritania
Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Russian Federation Mohammed Mahmoud Dahi in the framework of the International Economic Forum "Russia — the Islamic World: KazanForum". Welcoming the guests, Alexander Shadrikov briefly told about the main activities of the environmental protection agency – environmental monitoring, supervision, subsoil use, environmental education and activities under the national project "Ecology". The participants of the round table told about the experience of Tatarstan in the spheres of activity entrusted to them. Alexander Shadrikov stressed that the republican department is ready to share its best practices. In memory of the meeting, the head of the department presented the Ambassador with the main symbol of the Republic – a statuette of a winged leopard. In turn, Muhammad Mahmud Dahi noted the experience of Tatarstan environmentalists and thanked them for organizing the meeting.
