Young naturalists of the Yutazinsky district visited the laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology
How is the degree of toxicity and hazard class of waste determined? How are air, water and soil sampled and analyzed? Schoolchildren of the Yutazinsky district visited the Central Department of Environmental Supervision of the Ministry of Ecology. The guys joined the squad of young naturalists and it was very interesting for them to find out what tests are carried out in the laboratory and how to check the degree of contamination of water bodies. Such excursions and introductory talks, environmentalists say, help schoolchildren get to know the profession better: "The participants of the tour, the guys are erudite in the field of environmental protection. They showed interest in our profession. They asked a lot of questions about the work of the laboratory," the specialists of the Central Department of Environmental Supervision of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan say.
Let us recall that since 2018, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, together with the branch of the Russian Geographical Society, has been developing the Young naturalists movement in the Republic of Tatarstan. Now there are more than 2000 children in the republic who have joined this movement.
