Inspectors of the Prikamsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan for students of school No. 2 Menzelinsk held an environmental lesson on the topic "Hand over the battery – save the hedgehogs."

What professions in the field of ecology exist and what modern ecologists face – that was what schoolchildren learned at the "Ecological Hub" in the Mega Kazan shopping center. The career guidance event was attended by 550 students from 21 schools of Tatarstan in two days. Future students learned about the conditions of admission to environmental departments of universities and the features of the educational process. Ecological exhibitions, thematic workshops and devices and programs used by ecologists were organized for the guests of "EcoHub".

About 69 million rubles from the federal budget will be allocated for these purposes.

Yegor Tarnavsky, Deputy Minister of Ecology, told about this in his interview today. In the future, within the framework of the national project "Ecology", it is planned to clear the Melekeski riverbed in the Tukayevsky district. As the speaker explained, the financing of these works is included in the budget for 2025. "However, our task is to attract money earlier, in 2023-2024, in order to create favorable conditions for residents of this part of the republic as soon as possible," he notes.

Today, Deputy Minister of Ecology Egor Tarnavsky talked with residents of Tatarstan during a direct line at the site of the SDGs of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Specialists of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with representatives of the RT State Committee for Bioresources, aerated an unnamed lake near the village of Adav-Tulumbaevo of the Buinsky district as part of the action "Fish will live! (Balyk – Bulsyn!)". Timely implementation of such preventive measures provides an additional amount of oxygen in the water and allows one to preserve fish stocks in reservoirs.

As Alexander Shadrikov noted: "The program for the improvement of water bodies, which Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin spoke about today, is a project in demand and necessary for all of us. Our Republic also came out with the initiative of creating a "Improvement of Kama" federal project.

Today, as part of his annual Address to the Federation Council, Vladimir Putin also spoke about environmental issues. In particular, he noted that one of the priorities in this area is the elimination of old landfills and objects of accumulated damage.

This year, Tatarstan residents have cleaned about 14 thousand km of coastal territory and collected 34 thousand cubic meters of garbage within the framework of the "Water of Russia" campaign. 455,434 people took part in these environmental activities. Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan Egor Tarnavsky told reporters about this at a press conference today.

This Saturday, November 13, the final republican clean-up will be held as part of the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" of the federal project "Conservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology".

Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Egor Tarnavsky, Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor Denis Alexandrov and Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Nasyrov made a working trip to the facilities where work is currently underway within the framework of federal projects.
