Within the framework of the Year of environmental culture and protection the staff of the Specialized Inspectorate of Analytical Monitoring of Priiksk Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a familiarization tour about the Specialized Inspection of Analytical Monitoring for the pupils of the secondary general education school of the Ursayevo village of the Aznakayevsk area of the Republic of Tatarstan.

“Man and Nature”

Republican Scientific conference “Man and Nature” was held in the framework of the Year of Environment-oriented Culture and Nature Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan in Arsk district at the Secondary school No. 2. The organizers included the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Executive Committee of Arsk district, Information and Methodical Center, and Department of Education for Arsk Municipal District.

Chess Tournament

On March 28 the chess tournament within the framework of the Spartakiad of state officials of the Republic of Tatarstan started at the Central Specialized Children’s and Youth Chess School of Olympic Reserve named after Rasheed Nezhmetdinov. 24 teams take part in the tournament. Representatives of Executive Personnel of the President of Tatarstan, the Republic State Council, the ministries and
departments of the Republic of Tatarstan including the staff of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, are among the participants.

Wastepaper collection

This Saturday, on March 30, a campaign regarding wastepaper collection “Save a tree” will take place in Kazan. A public organization “Help another one” is the organizer of the event. They want to attract attention of citizens of the Republic to the problems of ecology and recycling of raw materials, cultivate careful attitude towards nature.

On March 29, at 16.00, in Arsk, a reception of citizens regarding environmental issues will take place. Anyone can come to the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, located at the address: 41 Internatsionalnaya St. It is necessary to register in advance by phone (8-266) 3-21-61. Ravil Kuzyurov, the Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, will answer citizens’ questions.

The World Day of Water Resources

In the framework of the Year of Environment-oriented Culture and Nature Protection, the republican ecological and educative campaign “Unified Ecological Lesson” that coincides with the World Day of Water Resources was held in educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, the 4th specialized exhibition “Clean Water. Kazan” was opened at the exhibition center “Kazan Fair”. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Halikov, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency of Water Resources Igor Nikitin, Deputy of the State Duma, Member of the Committee for Natural Resources, Nature Management and Ecology Fatikh Sibagatullin, Head of the Lower Volga Sub-basin Water Administration under the Federal Agency of Water Resources Anatoly Bykov, Director of the Center for International Industrial Cooperation UNIDO in the Russian Federation Sergey Korotkov,Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov and others participated in the ceremony of opening of the Congress and Exhibition “Clean Water. Kazan”.

“Bells Toll: Listen, People!

In the framework of the Year of Environment-oriented Culture and Nature Protection, the Republican Humanitarian Forum “Bells toll: listen, people” was held at Kazan State University of Culture and Arts organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Institute of Problems of Ecology and Subsurface Resources Management under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, United Nations Association of Russia and UNESCO World Culture Institute.

Law Breakers Will Not Remain in the Shade.

Strict control and wide publicity are awaiting breakers of the nature protection legislation. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov made such a statement during the briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan. The Minister’s report was devoted to the holding of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign on cleaning of cities and districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

“Children Draw the Country”

The contest “Children Draw the Country” has started in the Republic of Tatarstan, carried out by the State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company “Tatarstan” together with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the “United Russia” political party.
