Today, an environmental holiday devoted to the International day of birds was held at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan. This holiday is celebrated all over the world at the beginning of April. The event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan the press conference devoted to the beginning of the campaign “The Grackles Have Come” took place. The campaign has been carried out for the second time, this time it is carried out within the framework of the Year of environmental culture and protection. Representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, and representatives of the “Maksidom” Company took part in the press conference.

Pupils of primary school urge to take care of the environment. They express their wishes to the older generations in the form of drawings. The 7th republican TV contest “Children draw their country” is being held in the Republic of Tatarstan. This year’s topics are devoted to the Year of Environment-oriented culture and Nature Protection, as well as to the Universiade. One of the stages of the contest was held in Chistopol.

Reception of citizens was conducted in Naberezhnye Chelny. First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov answered all the questions that interested citizens of Avtograd. In particular, they were interested in the procedure of utilization of medical waste and bitumen.

A republican stage of the contest “Nursery School of the Year of the Republic of Tatarstan - 2013” is taking place in Tatarstan now. The nominations “City Nursery School of the Year - 2013” and “Rural Nursery School of the Year – 2013” are offered to its participants. Besides, there are six rewarding nominations as follows: the best organization regarding the work on health and fitness development of preschool children; the best organization regarding the work on ecological education of preschool children; the best private nursery school; the best organization regarding correctional work with pupils; the best organization regarding the work on rules of safe behavior in streets and roads; the best ungraded nursery school.
 “Dirty snow is being taken out to the nature protection zone near Lake Lebyazhye”. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan got the above message today. As inspectors of the Central Territorial Department found out, snow transportation was carried out illegally.
Fellow workers of the Trans-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the meeting of the gardeners’ partnership “Stroitel”.

On April 3 at 11.00 in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan (75 Pavlyukhina St.) the press conference devoted to the beginning of the campaign “The Crackles Have Come” will take place. The campaign is carried out with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the “Maksidom” Company.

On April 2, at 2 p.m. an onsite reception of citizens will be held in Naberezhnye Chelny. First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov will answer the questions of the citizens of Avtograd. The International Bird Day is celebrated annually on April 1 within the framework of the UNESCO “Man and Biosphere” programme. The day before a holiday where all visitors were called to care for migratory birds, namely, to build nesting boxes for them took place in the Kazan Zoo.
