Development of ecological mind and ecological culture. ECO lesson in lycéum 159

The ecological lesson in the form of an interactive conversation was held at Lyceum No. 159 of the Sovietsky District of Kazan. Educational event for 6-form students was conducted by the leading expert of the department of ecological education and interaction with public organizations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Yulia Shigapova. She told the students how the sorting and processing of garbage is carried out in the republic, water and air are measured, environmental laboratories work and how long it takes to decompose the cellophane bag, rubber wheel, or glass bottle.
A high level of ecological culture was demonstrated by the students-members of the agitation crew Rodnik. They made an appeal for the nature protection and told about the rules that everyone must follow. At the end of the meeting, Julia Shigapova stressed that “despite the young age, schoolchildren can now join the general conservation movement. With this in mind, the Ministry of Ecology launched various projects, such as “School Eco Patrol”, “Clean Look”, with the support of the Ministry, a volunteer movement “Budetchisto” was organised. Participation in these movements is an opportunity to contribute to the formation of an environmentally friendly republic, as well as to receive valuable prizes and gifts.”
