The fact of non-licensed extraction of subsurface resources was revealed in village Staroye Urussu of the Yutaz district. During the visit of the inspectors of the Priik territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, special machinery was operating on site. The seizure of common mineral (clay) was carried out illegally by one of the local enterprises. 

To establish coastline boundaries, improve environmental legislation in the water sector, ensure environmental safety of water resources, determine the boundaries of flood zones. These and other issues were discussed today in Kazan at the round table "Preservation and Prevention of the Volga River" within the framework of the VIII Congress "Clean Water. Kazan." The event was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Lower Volga Basin Water Agency of the Federal Agency for Water Resources. 

Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a report on a petroleum spot on the water of ​​the Volga River. The spot was discovered in Kazan on the Portovaya street, where the boat station "Vodnik" is located. Specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan quickly removed the spot with an area of ​​60 square meters. 

Results of the Republican correspondence contest of posters on ecology "Our land is our pride!" were summed up in the Bugulma Vocational and Pedagogical College. For the title of the best in the nature protection, students from 35 educational institutions of Tatarstan applied. In the presented contest works the participants reflected the topics of inseparable connection between man and nature, the importance of the set of nature protection measures, the contribution of each to the improvement of the ecological situation.

Today the exhibition center "Kazan Fair" opened the 8th specialized exhibition and congress "Pure water. Kazan." The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted: "Tatarstan is the most watered entity of the Volga Federal District. It takes a lot of effort to preserve the most valuable resource - water." The Minister stressed that the issues of ecology and environmental protection require a systematic approach and joint efforts. "Tatarstan was one of the first regions to join the formation of a federal project to improve the Volga. Here the pilot group worked, which formed data for the implementation of a new ambitious project.

From November 30 to December 1, 2017 the VIII specialized exhibition and congress " Clean water. Kazan " will be held in the exhibition center Kazanskaya Yarmarka. This event is organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federal State Budgetary Water Management Agency "Sredvolgavodkhoz", and the OJSC "Kazanskaya Yarmarka".

On November 30, 2017 on the ring line of the Moscow Metro, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the scientific and educational encyclopedia Planetpics and non-profitable organisation "Expocenter" Reserves of Russia",with the support of the Moscow Government, will bring onto operation a train-encyclopedia of specially protected natural areas. More than 123 tons of waste paper, 30 educational institutions. The results of environmental action "Give a second life to paper", which was held in the framework of the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces in the Republic of Tatarstan, were summed up in Nizhnekamsk. The experts of the Zakamsk Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources appreciated the significant contribution of the participants of the campaign to the preservation of natural resources. They noted that having collected a large amount of waste paper, schoolchildren saved more than 1200 trees.

On December 19-20, 2017, the All-Russian Conference "Hydrometeorology and Ecology: Scientific and Educational Achievements and Development Prospects" will be held in St. Petersburg. The event is timed to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Honored Scientist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Lev Karlin.
The conference will discuss the topical issues of the industry in the field of education, modern scientific achievements and prospects for their development. 

Give things a second life for the benefit of society. With this purpose a charity event "Good Heart" was held in Naberezhnye Chelny. Collecting things for low-income families together with the Prikamsky territorial department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of Education and Youth Affairs of the Executive Committee of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny was organized by activists of the environmental movement "Musora.Bolshe.Net.Naberezhnye Chelny." More than 500 people from 15 educational institutions of the city participated in the action. In total, about 8 cubic meters of clothes and children's toys were collected during the week. As participants of the action noted: "Clothes that you do not need can help someone to warm up."
