Petroleum spot on Volga promptly removed

Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a report on a petroleum spot on the water of the Volga River. The spot was discovered in Kazan on the Portovaya street, where the boat station "Vodnik" is located. Specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan quickly removed the spot with an area of 60 square meters. Experts of the Ministry of Ecology Laboratory sampled water upstream and downstream. Continuous analysis is going on. Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan initiated an administrative case to identify the persons involved in this violation.
