Second Life. Social action in Naberezhnye Chelny

Give things a second life for the benefit of society. With this purpose a charity event "Good Heart" was held in Naberezhnye Chelny. Collecting things for low-income families together with the Prikamsky territorial department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of Education and Youth Affairs of the Executive Committee of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny was organized by activists of the environmental movement "Musora.Bolshe.Net.Naberezhnye Chelny." More than 500 people from 15 educational institutions of the city participated in the action. In total, about 8 cubic meters of clothes and children's toys were collected during the week. As participants of the action noted: "Clothes that you do not need can help someone to warm up." The children's clothes they brought for infant and preschool age, as well as clothes and shoes given by their parents, has become a significant aid for needy families. "From the ecological point of view, the secondary use of old things is profitable and safe. And when the second life of your things can provide assistance to low-income families, it is socially significant," experts of the Ministry of Ecology emphasized.
