Within the framework of the Year of Ecology, "reserved" train to appear in Moscow Metro

On November 30, 2017 on the ring line of the Moscow Metro, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the scientific and educational encyclopedia Planetpics and non-profitable organisation "Expocenter" Reserves of Russia",with the support of the Moscow Government, will bring onto operation a train-encyclopedia of specially protected natural areas. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Natural Resources.
The launch of the "Year of Ecology" train will become one of the main eco-awareness projects in the framework of the Year of Ecology in Russia. The eco-train will feature 10 natural and climatic zones of Russia: arctic and tundra, taiga and steppes, forests and mountains, islands and underwater ecosystems, lakes and deserts. Passengers of the metro and guests of the capital will be able to see photos of specific locations and pictures of rare inhabitants. In this case, each object of wildlife will be accompanied by a QR code leading to the expanded materials of the Planetpics encyclopedia. In total, 81 photographs of territories and 140 photographs of representatives of flora or fauna were used in the design of the train.
Also passengers of the train will be able to download the free application "Protected Pearls of Russia". It features a full collection of documentaries in 360 degrees format, introducing spectators to the beauty of nature reserves and national parks in Russia.
