Since March 7, due to the fact that the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 11/19/2016 "On the implementation of measures to reduce anthropogenic pressure on atmospheric air in Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk municipal district" has become invalid, a new procedure has been defined for analyzing the feasibility of creating new production facilities or expanding existing production facilities on the territory of Nizhnekamsk and Tukayevsky districts located in within 3 km from Nizhnekamsk.

From March 4-7, 2024, on the basis of the Kazan Petrochemical College named after V. P. Lushnikov, the Regional stage of the Professional Skills Championship "Professionals" of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2024 on the competence "Organization and management of EOG projects (ESG projects)" was held.
