The head of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology held meetings with representatives of the Executive Committees of the districts
Lenar Kasimov, Head of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, held meetings with representatives of the executive committees of Arsky, Atninsky, Baltasinsky, Kukmor, Sabinsky and Tyulyachinsky districts.
At the meeting, the head of the department spoke about the results of the work of the territorial administration in 2023 and discussed the implementation of environmental protection measures at the expense of so-called "green" money. Also at the meetings, complaints on environmental issues from residents of the districts were considered. For example, in the Arsky district, the most pressing issue was the construction of sewage treatment plants. In 2023 alone, 21 complaints were received from residents of this area regarding illegal discharges into the Kazanka River. The main complaints are related to discharges from the Arsky dairy plant "Archa". At the meeting, the issue of the construction of local sewage treatment plants for the dairy plant was raised. To date, a place has been determined for their construction, and the issue of project development is being resolved.
Also at the meetings, questions were raised about compliance with the norms of water protection legislation in terms of preventing the development of coastal strips and restricting free access of residents to water bodies.
