The head of the Volga-Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology Rafis Akhmetzyanov spoke about the results of the department's work in 2023. He made a presentation at meetings with representatives of Executive Committees and heads of rural settlements of Alekseevsky, Alkeevsky, Aksubaevsky, Novosheshminsky, Spassky, Rybno-Slobodsky and Chistopol districts.

Since the beginning of the year, 17 automatic monitoring stations have already performed more than 852 thousand measurements, including five stations located in Kazan that have already made more than 284 thousand measurements.

The Ministry of Ecology received an appeal from a resident of the Buinsky district about the unauthorized removal and relocation of a fertile soil layer on the territory of the Malobuinkovo rural settlement.

During an on-site survey of the territory of the Sarmanovsky district, inspectors of the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology discovered unauthorized storage of snow in the village of Sarmanovo on Trade Union Street and in the village Jalil. 

A meeting of eco-activists was held at the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan. It was attended by curators of environmental associations and representatives of universities and colleges of Kazan. 

During the environmental monitoring, inspectors of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology recorded the fact of insufficient wastewater treatment of biological treatment facilities of LLC Chista Tyulyachinsky district.

Inspectors of the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology organized an environmental event for the children of the Karlygach kindergarten called "Experts in Nature". 

Inspectors of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology during the regional state geological control in the Mamadyshsky district, on the banks of the Vyatka River, near Mamadysh, identified an unauthorized quarry.

At the request of the Tatar Environmental Protection Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office, environmentalists inspected the territory of the districts for unauthorized snow dumps. 

1,617 applications were received by the Fund for Rational Environmental Management from organizations of Tatarstan for the free disposal of electronics. More than 185 tons of waste of electronic and electrical equipment have already been removed from the territory of 32 settlements of the Republic. The total number of organizations participating in the program was 547.
