An event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the action "A second life to a paper!" in support of the national project "Ecology" was held in Naberezhnye Chelny. More than 400 people took part in it, including representatives of the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology, the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny, as well as young environmentalists of Tatarstan. The guests were pleased with the exhibition of children's and youth eco-associations, creative performances by schoolchildren and, of course, the awarding of the winners. For the support in the campaign, the Ministry of Ecology was awarded a commendation.

Last weekend, Olga Vladimirovna Manidicheva, Deputy Minister of Ecology, Excellent Student of Nature Protection and Honored Ecologist of the Republic of Tatarstan, celebrated her anniversary.

152 schoolchildren who showed the best result in solving the Olympiad tasks of the online stage passed the full-time stage.

A large-scale environmental campaign on tree planting was held in the Salavat Kupere microdistrict within the framework of the SIBUR Green Formula program in support of the national Ecology project. More than 200 trees, including firs, limes and maples, as well as over 120 shrubs decorated the new site at the intersection of Nail Yusupov and Alfiya Avzalova streets. More than 100 people took part in the event, including representatives of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, employees of Kazanorgsintez, Rosprirodnadzor of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Executive Committee of Kazan and concerned residents of the city.

8283 applications have been registered at the Republican Public Environmental Reception since the beginning of the year. These are 3,768 messages in the School Eco-patrol mobile application and 1,283 notifications received through the People's Control system. 177 requests were registered on the feedback platform "POS" and 3055 – through the Internet reception of the Ministry.

Andrey Vasilyevich Ermolaev, an experienced employee of the Ministry, an ecologist with 40 years of work experience, is going on a well-deserved rest today. At the weekly meeting, Minister Alexander Shadrikov congratulated and thanked his colleague for years of honest work and dedication to his chosen cause. 

In Almetyevsk, as part of the landscaping program, after the renovation of 36 house territories, 120 seedlings of apple trees, lilacs and spirea decorated the streets of the city. Residents gladly took part in the planting of trees and shrubs on Lenin Street, putting their work into creating cozy green corners. 

Soon we will have a little less plastic. From September 1, 2025, a restriction on the production of PET packages comes into force in Russia.

The XVI BRICS Summit, dedicated to strengthening multilateralization for equitable global development and security, has ended in Kazan. Following the discussion, the participants adopted the Kazan Declaration, which included many issues previously considered by the relevant ministers of the participating countries.

Exactly one month has passed since the start of the All-Russian campaign "BoomBattle" in support of the national project "Ecology". Today, on the International Day without Paper, the interim results of the campaign in the regions have been summed up.
