Earlier, during a survey of the Nizhnekamsk district, inspectors of the Zakamsky administration revealed the use of mineral resources without a license.
Experts have recorded that illegal mining of common minerals using a floating crane is underway in the waters of the Kama River.
The inspectors of the Zakamsky department calculated the damage caused to the subsoil as a result of illegal mining. It amounted to 1 million 636 thousand rubles.
The Ministry has filed a statement of claim with the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The court supported the environmentalists' demands and ordered the violators to pay the amount of damage in full.
Let us recall that according to part 1 of Article 7.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, "The use of mineral resources without a license for the use of mineral resources" entails the imposition of an administrative fine on individuals from 3 to 5 thousand rubles, on officials from 30 to 50 thousand rubles, and on legal entities from 800 thousand to 1 million rubles.
