An unusual ecology lesson was held in Almetyevsk. Fourth-graders of School No. 4 met with Igor Egorov, a participant in a special military operation, who now works as a senior specialist at the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Igor Yakovlevich told the children about the value of Tatarstan's water resources, explained the importance of rivers and lakes for nature and humans. The students learned with interest about practical ways to save water in everyday life. "When we talk to children about ecology, we talk about love for the Motherland. Conservation of nature and patriotism are inseparable. I am glad that the guys understand this and actively participate in the discussion," Igor Egorov shared.
This is the fifth such meeting with schoolchildren for the veteran. In 2022, Igor Egorov voluntarily left for the SMO zone, and after returning, he again devoted himself to protecting the nature of the Republic and returned to work at the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. His employment became possible thanks to the Batyrlar. Heroes of Tatarstan program, which helps SMO participants to adapt to a civilian life. Igor's mentor in the program is Tatarstan Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin.
Such environmental lessons are regularly conducted by the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and contribute to the formation of a careful attitude towards nature among the younger generation, which corresponds to the objectives of the national project "Environmental well-being".
