Earlier, as part of the monitoring, inspectors from the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the GBU "Road Safety", discovered an unauthorized landfill in the Upper Settlement of Bugulma.

Inspectors from the Volga-Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology took part in comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills. The event was held in the Novosheshminsky district in the village of Urgancha. According to legend, there was a spill of 50 cubic meters (40 tons) of petroleum products. The specialists of the Transoil Limited Liability Company, together with professional rescuers from RegionSpas, demonstrated a high level of readiness by promptly completing two stages of the exercises.

Environmentalists have reviewed and resolved 4,137 appeals out of 4,794 received by the Republican Public Environmental Reception since January 1 of this year.

During the monitoring of the territory of the Arsky district, inspectors of the Northern Directorate identified an unauthorized landfill. Near the village of Stary Kirlay, environmentalists discovered illegal disposal of waste from construction and repair work, household and vegetable waste.

Today, as part of the clean-up day "Water of Russia" of the national project "Ecological Well-being", Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov announced a new pilot project for the reconstruction of forest plantations along the Kazanka River.

Today, the All-Russian clean-up day "Green Russia" and the "Water of Russia" campaign of the national project "Ecological Well-being" took place in Kazan on Lake Izumrudny. The clean-up day was timed to coincide with the marathon "In the Footsteps of Good Deeds" in support of the Clean Heritage Olympics.

Tomorrow, September 20, at 10:00 a.m., we will gather at Lake Izumrudny to hold the main clean-up day of autumn. Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, signed an order on the allocation of additional funding for the rehabilitation of water bodies. According to the document, in 2025 the Republic of Tatarstan will receive an additional 34.1 million rubles for the ecological rehabilitation of the Melekeski River in Naberezhnye Chelny.

Earlier, as part of the monitoring of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors from the Kama Department revealed violations of environmental legislation in the field of waste management.

The Ministry of Ecology received an appeal from residents regarding excavation work near the village of Nizhny Uslon.

The inspectors of the Central Department conducted a field visit. During the survey, the fact of removing and moving the fertile soil layer was confirmed, and special equipment was working on site.

The area of the violation was 1900 sq.m.
