Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded unauthorized storage of soil near the lake in Naberezhnye Chelny
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny about filling the lake with soil, located near the house number 12 on Nikolay Ivantsov Street. According to the applicant, a bulldozer was operating at the site, with the help of which the filling of the water body was carried out. Inspectors from the Prikamsky Department went to the site and recorded that the lake itself was not filled in, but soil was being illegally stored near the water body, which was a violation of the Water Code of the Russian Federation. It is prohibited to place landfills of eroded soils within the boundaries of coastal strips, as this may lead to contamination, siltation or complete destruction of the water body.
Since the violation was recorded on municipal land, the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny issued a warning and a requirement to eliminate violations.
