Environmentalists have recorded an unauthorized landfill near the Oshma River

Environmentalists have recorded the unauthorized dumping of consumer and industrial waste that was located within the boundaries of the Oshma River water protection zone, which is a violation of the Water Code of the Russian Federation. The waste includes: ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap, asphalt and asphalt concrete coatings, film, polyethylene, wood waste and containers contaminated with resins.
The total area of the landfill was 216 sq.m., the volume was 52 cubic meters.
Determining the owner of the territory required additional time. It turned out that the land belongs to a legal entity. The violator was warned against violating the mandatory requirements of environmental legislation and the requirement to eliminate the landfill.
According to Article 65 of the Water Code of the Russian Federation, it is prohibited to dispose of industrial and consumer waste within the boundaries of water protection zones and coastal protective strips.
