The Internet has become a part of our lives, but with the comforts came the risks. Hackers are constantly coming up with new ways to trick us into stealing money or personal data.

We analyze popular tricks and learn how to resist them.

Have you received an email from the bank? Don't rush to click on it.
Scammers fake websites "carbon copy". It is better to go only through the official app or by typing in the address with your hands (phishing).

Text message: "You have won!" or "You have received a payment."
The government does not send links via SMS. This is a trap for stealing your data (SMiShing ).

A call from the "police" or the "Central Bank"? Hang up the phone.
Even if the number looks like a real one and the other person is polite. Call them back yourself. Never dictate the code from an SMS (fishing, pretexing).

Social media: a friend asks for money or a strange post arrives on your behalf.
The account may have been hacked (framing). Enable two-factor login - this is the best protection.

Coffee in the cafe, Wi-Fi is free.
Public networks are a hacker's paradise (sniffer). Do not log into an online bank or enter passwords until you switch to the mobile Internet.

QR code on the sign at the entrance.
The code may lead to a fake website (quishing). If you have scanned it, do not enter the card details.

Remember: your safety is in your hands. Be careful and share this information with your loved ones.
