Tatarstan collected and sent 185 tons of scrap metal for recycling in support of the national project "Ecological Well-being"

The Foundation for Environmental Management summed up the results of the Recycling School: Electronics program for 2025. Thanks to the activity of Tatarstan residents in the republic, 185 tons of old electrical equipment were collected and exported. This is the result of the work of 314 organizations from 32 districts of the republic.

The children of school No. 5 from Bugulma made a special contribution to the program. The students, along with their parents and teachers, sent 750 kg of electronics for recycling.

This year, Tatarstan residents continue to actively collect old electrical equipment. In January 2026, 14 budget organizations from 3 municipalities have already participated in the program: Kazan, Atninsky and Vysokogorsky districts. Residents sent 8.5 tons of electrical equipment for recycling.

The Recycling School: Electronics program has been implemented in Tatarstan since 2022. Over the past four years, more than 551 tons of electronics have been assembled in the republic.

In order to participate, you need to submit an application on the official website of the program: https://eko-fond.ru/electronics /by filling out the "Participant Registration" form.

Accepted for disposal:

• computer and office equipment;

• household appliances (including washing machines and refrigerators);

• power tools;

• Scientific and medical technology;

• Phones and personal gadgets;

• Electronic and electric toys;

• cartridges (must not exceed 10% of the volume of the delivered equipment).

For reference: the Recycling School: Electronics program is being implemented in Tatarstan within the framework of an agreement signed between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Fund for Rational Use of Natural Resources. The program provides an opportunity for residents to recycle expired equipment in an environmentally friendly and convenient manner, and also contributes to achieving the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being" in terms of environmental education and the development of a caring attitude towards the environment.
