An environmental campaign to collect waste paper "BoomBattle" in support of the national project "Ecological Well-being" has started in Russia. This year, the campaign is taking place in a new format - now you can donate paper all year round.
BoomBattle has set a record for waste paper collection - participants of the fifth season of the All-Russian campaign collected 144 thousand tons of paper waste, which is 1.5 times more than last year. Participants from the Republic of Tatarstan handed over more than 179 tons of waste paper for recycling. The region took the sixth place in the overall ranking of the country's subjects.
The Republic of Tatarstan is actively participating in the All-Russian campaign to collect waste paper "BoomBattle" in support of the national project "Ecology". In more than a month, residents were able to recycle 75.5 tons of paper and cardboard!
In two weeks, more than 47 thousand people from 55 regions have already joined the "BoomBattle". Participants from all over Russia have already collected almost 147 tons of paper and cardboard. Now Tatarstan is among the leaders and ranks eighth in terms of the number of waste paper delivered.
As part of the All-Russian "BoomBattle" campaign, students of gymnasium No. 184 of Kazan has been shown a real example of environmental responsibility. They collected 3,470 kg of paper and sent it for recycling. And this is just the beginning! Until November 15, everyone has the opportunity to take care of nature.
The specialists of the Ministry of Ecology told the first-graders of gymnasium No. 122 named after J. A. Zaitseva how important it is to protect nature and sort waste. The eco-lesson was held in order to support the All-Russian campaign to collect waste paper "BoomBattle".
