The specialists of the Ministry of Ecology told the first-graders of gymnasium No. 122 named after J. A. Zaitseva how important it is to protect nature and sort waste. The eco-lesson was held in order to support the All-Russian campaign to collect waste paper "BoomBattle".
The employees showed a video about the waste that is sent to special plants for recycling. The students understood why they need to separate garbage and how glass, paper and plastic can be given a second life.
"Most of the population of the republic is not indifferent to the environment and actively participates in the campaigns of the Ministry of Ecology. We will be glad to see you among the ranks of young eco-activists who are ready to help nature at any second!" Anastasia Merdyukova, specialist of the Department of Environmental Education and interaction with public organizations of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted in her speech.
At the end of the eco-lesson, the children were presented with coloring books "School of Ecology", for further immersion in the world of nature.
Let us recall that the All-Russian environmental campaign to collect waste paper "BoomBattle" in support of the national project "Ecology" will last until November 15. "BoomBattle" is an opportunity to take care of nature by handing over paper for recycling. But, like any battle, it is also a competition for the amount of waste paper collected. Kindergartens, schools, colleges, higher educational institutions, families, businesses and all concerned residents of Tatarstan can take part in it.
