The raids have been going on since June 1 together with the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, and since 2024 - with the interregional territorial directorate of Rostransnadzor for the Volga Federal District.

Every year, the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Traffic Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, organizes raids to check vehicles to prevent the negative impact of car exhaust emissions on the atmospheric air.

Inspectors of the territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and employees of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan continue to carry out measures to identify vehicles whose exhaust gases exceed the norms for pollutants. Since June, 1,242 cars have already been checked on the roads of Tatarstan, of which 33 cars turned out to be in excess. Violations were detected in cars with gasoline, diesel and gas engines.

“Clean Air” Operation is nearing completion. As part of the campaign, which started on July 10, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Department of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, have already checked thousands of cars for exhaust cleanliness.
