Tatarstan continues to check vehicles for environmental friendliness: 2,729 cars have been checked
2,729 vehicles have been inspected in Tatarstan as part of Operation Clean Air since the beginning of June. During the operation, employees of the Ministry, together with the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the interregional territorial Directorate of Rostransnadzor for the Volga Federal District, checked 2,416 cars, 186 trucks and 127 buses.
Excess was detected in 91 vehicles, which is 3.3%. Warnings were issued to car owners and recommendations were given to visit service stations to troubleshoot the exhaust system.
All types of vehicles are checked in 17 municipal districts of Tatarstan. Until October 1, environmental monitoring of cars is planned in 25 districts of the republic.
Let us recall that Operation Clean Air is aimed at reducing the level of atmospheric air pollution and contributes to achieving the goals of the national project "Ecology".
