3123 vehicles were checked in Tatarstan as part of Operation Clean Air
As part of the operational and preventive measure "Clean Air", employees of the Ministry of Ecology, together with the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the interregional territorial Directorate of Rostransnadzor for the Volga Federal District, inspected 3,123 vehicles for environmental friendliness. 2,788 cars, 207 trucks and 128 buses were tested.
The excess was detected in 101 vehicles, which is 3.2%.
Inspections on the roads of the republic will continue until September 30.
Let us recall that the control of vehicles for environmental friendliness is planned in 25 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main purpose of the operational and preventive measures is to prevent the negative impact of vehicles on the state of atmospheric air. The event also contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Ecology".
