776 vehicles have been inspected in Tatarstan since June 1 as part of Operation Clean Air. Inspections are carried out by inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Since the beginning of the operation, 636 passenger cars, 32 trucks and 108 buses have been inspected.
The excess was detected in 4 vehicles (2 passenger cars and 2 buses), which is 0.5% of the total number of vehicles checked. An explanatory conversation was held with the owners of motor vehicles about the inadmissibility of violations of the mandatory requirements of environmental legislation in the field of atmospheric air protection.
The main purpose of the operation is to reduce the negative impact of vehicles on the state of atmospheric air by monitoring compliance with standards for the content of pollutants in vehicle emissions. Inspections on the republic's highways will continue until September 30.
