The Republic of Tatarstan is actively participating in the All-Russian campaign to collect waste paper "BoomBattle" in support of the national project "Ecology". In more than a month, residents were able to recycle 75.5 tons of paper and cardboard!
An event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the action "A second life to a paper!" in support of the national project "Ecology" was held in Naberezhnye Chelny. More than 400 people took part in it, including representatives of the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology, the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny, as well as young environmentalists of Tatarstan. The guests were pleased with the exhibition of children's and youth eco-associations, creative performances by schoolchildren and, of course, the awarding of the winners. For the support in the campaign, the Ministry of Ecology was awarded a commendation.
77 regions of the country joined the large-scale waste paper collection campaign. To date, the top three are occupied by the Belgorod region, the Republic of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan.
