"A second life to a paper!" – Naberezhnye Chelny summed up the results of the waste paper collection campaign
An event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the action "A second life to a paper!" in support of the national project "Ecology" was held in Naberezhnye Chelny. More than 400 people took part in it, including representatives of the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology, the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny, as well as young environmentalists of Tatarstan. The guests were pleased with the exhibition of children's and youth eco-associations, creative performances by schoolchildren and, of course, the awarding of the winners. For the support in the campaign, the Ministry of Ecology was awarded a commendation.
Waste paper collection in educational institutions has been carried out on the initiative of EcoLab since 2005. Schools and kindergartens from 60 settlements of Tatarstan take part in it. Thanks to the campaign, 250 tons of waste paper are collected and recycled annually and about 2,500 trees are preserved. This is the result of the care and active participation of schoolchildren, teachers, parents and the whole republic!

3rd place – Kindergarten No.47 – 2207 kg

2nd place – Kindergarten No.27 - 9.7 kg /person
3rd place – Kindergarten No.78 - 8.5 kg /person
