The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov.

A meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulation of the operation modes of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama Cascade was held today. It was attended by representatives of Rosrybolovstvo, Rosmorrechflot, Roshydromet, RAO "UES of Russia", PJSC "RusHydro" and executive authorities of subjects, including Volgograd, Astrakhan, Saratov regions, the Republic of Mari El. Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov and a representative of JSC Tatenergo took part in the meeting on behalf of the Republic of Tatarstan. Also, the Deputy head of the Tatar branch of the VNIRO Federal State Budgetary Institution, Yuri Severov was present at the meeting.

The event was attended by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov and representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, AO Tatenergo, Roshydromet, Rosrybolovstvo, RAO EES of Russia, PAO RusHydro, executive authorities of the Kostroma, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Volgograd, Astrakhan regions and other regions of the Volga region.

Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexander Shadrikov, took part in a meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Regulating the operation of reservoirs of the Volzhsko-Kamsky Cascade via videoconference.

During the event, the issues of completing the period of passing the spring flood and the transition of the waterworks of the reservoirs of the Volzhsko-Kamsky cascade to the low-water mode of operation were considered.

The meeting of the interdepartmental working group on regulating the operation modes of the Volga-Kama Cascade reservoirs was held today with Federal Water Resources Agency via videoconference . Following the results of the meeting, the approved modes of operation of reservoirs will be published on the Federal Water Resources Agency website. A follow-up meeting of the IWG is scheduled for early February.

The regulation of the operating modes of the Volga-Kama cascade reservoirs was discussed at the regular meeting of the Interagency Working Group. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov, representatives of Tatenergo AO, Roshydromet, Rosrybolovstvo, RAO UES of Russia, RusHydro PAO, as well as executive bodies of Samara, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions participated in the videoconference meeting.

During the meeting, the Federal Agency for Water Resources presented options for the design modes of operation of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade during the spring flood for the period from April 10 to 26. It is planned that if any of the proposed options is implemented, the Kuibyshev reservoir will operate at least 51.5 m BS during the spring agricultural and fishery releases.
