Today, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulating the modes of operation of reservoirs of the Volga-Kama Cascade was held via videoconference. The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov.

The meeting discussed the issue of establishing the operating modes of the hydroelectric reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade for the period from February 11 to March 10, 2023.

In connection with the increase in the inflow to the Kuibyshev reservoir from the Upper Volga by Rosvodresurs, it was proposed to set the costs through the Kuibyshev reservoir hydroelectric unit 5,100±100 cubic meters/s. Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov supported the proposed modes of operation of waterworks.

The established modes will be published on the official website of Rosvodresurs.
