Alexander Shadrikov supported the modes of operation of reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade proposed at the meeting of the IWG

Today, via videoconference, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulating the operating modes of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama Cascade was held. The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of Rosrybolovstvo, Rosmorrechflot, Roshydromet, RAO UES of Russia, PJSC RusHydro and executive authorities of subjects, including Volgograd, Astrakhan, Saratov regions, the Republic of Mari El.

The issue of establishing the operating modes of the hydroelectric reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade for the period from October 11 to November 10 was discussed at the meeting. Today, the level of the Kuibyshev reservoir in the area of Kazan is 51.72 m BS. During the period from September 11 to October 6, the reservoir level decreased with an intensity of 1-1.3 cm per day

Alexander Shadrikov supported the modes of operation of reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade proposed by Rosvodresurs. The modes are calculated taking into account the prevention of a decrease in the water level in the Kuibyshev reservoir below the level of 51.0 m BS.

The established modes will be published on the Rosvodresurs website.

The next meeting of the IWG is scheduled for November 8-10.
