Environmental education of the younger generation is one of the main tasks set by the employees of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. For the new academic year, ecologists have traditionally prepared informative environmental lessons and eco-educational events for the children. 

Today, the Ministry held a regular meeting of the interdepartmental working group on climate policy and decarbonization of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Galiyev, Deputy Minister of Ecology Olga Manidicheva, as well as representatives of enterprises and organizations of the Republic, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, universities and Ministries of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The unauthorized placement of waste from the demolition and dismantling of buildings was revealed by the inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration near the territory of the Chemist-72 SNT of the Laishevsky district. 

The Association of Grant-giving Organizations "Forum of Donors" with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia is holding the All-Russian competition of voluntary public annual reports of non-profit organizations "Point of reference".

The Zakamsky territorial administration received an appeal from citizens that the coast is being destroyed near the village of Berezovaya Griva in the Nizhnekamsk district, in connection with the work of a dredger. 

"The further into the forest..." - under this name, on September 11, the Central Voluntary clean-up will be held on the territory of Lake Izumrudnoye  (Yudino village). The clean-up will take place within the framework of the All-Russian Voluntary clean-up and the federal project "Preservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology". The organizers are the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, the youth movement "Will be clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Branch of the RGS in Tatarstan. The campaign will be organized in the format of a quest game.

23 billion rubles have been invested in environmental protection measures over the past ten years, more than half of them are aimed at improving wastewater treatment, which has reduced the discharge of pollutants by 30 thousand tons per year (51%) over 7 years, while annual production has increased by 65%. Such figures were announced by SIBUR at the last All-Russian Scientific and Practical conference "Industrial Ecology and Safety" named after A. I. Shchepovskikh, which was held at the Kazan Expo. Galina Khristoforova, Head of Ecology at SIBUR, told about the key environmental projects of the largest petrochemical company in Russia.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the start of accepting applications for participation in the republican contest "ECO-leader-2021". The most eco-friendly enterprises, educational institutions, public figures, citizens who are not indifferent to environmental problems, as well as journalists who have become real assistants to inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during the year are invited to participate.

Schoolchildren of grades 1-9 in all regions of Russia will be able to test their knowledge of ecology. The competition is held from September 13 to October 4 of the current year. The educational initiative is implemented by the online educational platform Uchi.ru together with the ANCO "National Priorities".

Today, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Sergey Anoprienko, according to the official website of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was also attended by the head of the Federal Forestry Agency Ivan Sovetnikov, the head of the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Igor Shumakov and the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov, and others.
