Today, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Sergey Anoprienko, according to the official website of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was also attended by the head of the Federal Forestry Agency Ivan Sovetnikov, the head of the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Igor Shumakov and the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov, and others.
The prospects of cooperation in a number of areas and the implementation of joint projects were discussed at the meeting.
During the visit to Tatarstan, representatives of federal departments will take part in events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the state forestry management body of the Republic of Tatarstan and the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Lubyanka Forestry College.
