Students, postgrads, young scientists and researchers participated in the II Republican Youth Ecological Research Conference. The event was held at the Institute for Problems of Natural Resources Use and Ecology under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. The International project "Contest & exhibition of children's creative work 'The Red Book through the eyes of children'" is implemented in the framework of the International ecological campaign "To save and protect" under the aegis of the National Commission for UNESCO, the International Organization "Northern Forum".

The following creative pieces of work are accepted for the contest:

• those inspired by personal impressions related to acquaintance with the Red Books of various regions and countries, as well as pertaining to the meeting with extinctive species inhabiting specially protected natural areas (during expeditions), and impressions after watching films or visiting Zoos;

those touching upon ecology and morality

The Ministry of Ecology announces a contest for active participants of Saturday work campaigns and nature protection campaigns. In order to participate, one should be subscribed to the official Instagram account of the Ministry of Ecology and post his/her photo or a video spot from the Saturday work campaign or any other nature protection campaign under the hashtag #ECOSPRING2016 (#ECOVESNA2016).

"A sound mind in a sound body", - the event related to the World Day of Health Protection was held under this slogan at nursery No. 8 of Arsk Municipal District. Another ecology-related campaign "Green tram" was held in Nizhnekamsk urging the population to participate in the sanitary and ecological campaign aimed at cleaning of Nizhnekamsk. This year it was held under the slogan “Cleanliness in the soul means cleanliness all around”.
