Today, the campaign “Forest, live!” is being held all over Russia. In every region of the country various events were organized and involved planting of forest trees, landscaping of settlements and cleaning of forests from rubbish. The campaign is aimed at attraction of public attention to the problems of recovery and augmentation of forest wealth. During autumn 2013 it is planned to plant around 10 million seedlings in the Republic of Tatarstan. Fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan supported the campaign and arranged the planting along the highway Kazan-Kadyshevo. Hundreds of seedlings of pines were planted by efforts of the Ministry.
A meeting of the Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Akchurin with Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan, Mr. Omer Dahab Fadl Mohamed who participated in the International Economic Summit of Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) “KAZANSUMMIT 2013” was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The issues regarding possible cooperation between two Republics in the field of exploration and production of raw hydrocarbon deposits in Sudan were discussed in the framework of the meeting.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation holds a contest regarding competition for the All-Russian Award “Ecological development — Evolution Awards”. The award will be presented to Russian and foreign companies, as well as individuals for achievements in the field of “green” technologies, as well as in the field of sustainable development.
In order to determine award winners of “Ecological development — Evolution Awards-2013”, a contest will be organized envisaging 5 categories.
An official website devoted to the IV All-Russian Meeting on environment protection, a final event of the Year for Environment Protection, was launched. More detailed information on the meeting that will take place on December 2-4 in Moscow at the International Exhibition Center “Crocus Expo” is available at www.eco2013.info. The meeting organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation is aimed at discussion of burning ecological problems, search for their solutions, as well as improvement of nature protection legislation of Russia. Participants will discuss issues regarding nature protection in the form of open discussion in the framework of the program of the main ecological event of the country.

A territorial conference on selection of delegates for participation in the IV All-Russian Meeting for Environment Protection was held in Kazan. Subject to the quota, determined for the Republic of Tatarstan by the order of the Federal Service for Supervision of Nature Resources; 52 delegates from the Republic of Tatarstan will participate in the Meeting. They include fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage for the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Products of the Republic of Tatarstan, Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads and ecological specialists of the companies of industrial complex implementing the most advanced technologies, representatives of municipalities, proponents of public ecological movement, representatives of science and education, as well as nature protection authorities.
Today, a solemn opening ceremony of a spring with pure potable water, arranged by Efes Rus company, with the assistance of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Administration of Laishevo District and Youth Association of the Republic of Tatarstan, was held in Karaishevo of Laishevo district. Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilkham Sabirov, Director for Development of Corporative Relations in Efes Rus regions Stanislav Averyanov, Chairperson of the Youth Association of the Republic of Tatarstan Svetlana Permyakova, Head of rural settlement Lyudmila Steryakova, as well as citizens of the village participated in the opening ceremony.

Today, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for the functioning of the State Information System (SIS) of the Republic of Tatarstan “People’s Control” was held in the Republic of Tatarstan at the Administrative Office of the Human Rights Commissioner for the Republic of Tatarstan. Representatives of ministries and authorities of the Republic participated in it. During the meeting the problems regarding system functioning and the ways of their solution were discussed.
The Human Rights Commissioner for the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya told about the changes in the SIS “People’s Control”: the Human Rights Commissioner became the main moderator, two new categories appeared in the “People’s control”, namely “Housing and Public Utilities” and “Violations in Outdoor Advertising”, a “planned” status now can be assigned in the system only once, and the time period for changing notification review has been reduced from 30 to 10 days.
In November 2013, the International Representative Center and the All-Russian Lifesaving Society organizes the Meeting of the International Congress “Ecological safety of the nation is the power of the state” in the framework of events that coincide with the Year for Environment Protection in the Russian Federation.

Today, veterans of work who devoted a lot of years to the work at the Ministry were honored at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov addressed the audience with a welcome speech and congratulations. He acknowledged that this day is a wonderful holiday that gives another opportunity to express deep respect and sincere gratitude to seniors.

Spartakiade of public officials of the Republic of Tatarstan is held in Kazan. In the framework of the Spartakiade, on September 28, a group stage of mini-football contest was held at the sports complex “Burevestnik”. Following the results of the drawing procedure, teams of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Health Care of the Republic of Tatarstan became competitors of the team of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Ministry’s team, having won twice scoring 7:0 and 7:1, respectively, was rated the first in the group, thus, being qualified for 1/8 final. On October 5, the team of ecological specialists will play against the team of the Administrative Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
