An official website devoted to the IV All-Russian Meeting on environment protection, a final event of the Year for Environment Protection, was launched. More detailed information on the meeting that will take place on December 2-4 in Moscow at the International Exhibition Center “Crocus Expo” is available at www.eco2013.info. The meeting organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation is aimed at discussion of burning ecological problems, search for their solutions, as well as improvement of nature protection legislation of Russia. Participants will discuss issues regarding nature protection in the form of open discussion in the framework of the program of the main ecological event of the country.
This meeting is the largest discussion platform for professional ecological community, where more than 2 thousand people from 83 regions of Russia will take part, including representatives of state authorities, scientific and public organizations, Russian and international companies, as well as business communities. Regional conferences, in the course of which delegates of the meeting are elected, are held in constituent entities of Russia.
The IV All-Russian Meeting for Nature Protection is the final event of the Year for Nature Protection. The III All-Russian Meeting for Nature Protection was held in November 2003. As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
As part of the monitoring of the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation.
