The next stage of the social project “Let’s arrange the springs together!” has been completed in the Republic of Tatarstan

Today, a solemn opening ceremony of a spring with pure potable water, arranged by Efes Rus company, with the assistance of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Administration of Laishevo District and Youth Association of the Republic of Tatarstan, was held in Karaishevo of Laishevo district. Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilkham Sabirov, Director for Development of Corporative Relations in Efes Rus regions Stanislav Averyanov, Chairperson of the Youth Association of the Republic of Tatarstan Svetlana Permyakova, Head of rural settlement Lyudmila Steryakova, as well as citizens of the village participated in the opening ceremony.
Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilkham Sabirov expressed on behalf of the Ministry his gratitude to everyone who took active part in implementation of the social project “Let’s arrange the springs together!”. Statistically, 3134 springs are registered today in the Republic of Tatarstan, and our further task, according to Ilkham Sabirov, is to protect such unique natural wealth, care for them, and preserve ecological order on their territory.
This event was the final annual stage of the national project “Let’s arrange the springs together!” aimed at provision of citizens of the republic with pure potable water. All in all, 5 springs have been arranged in the course of project implementation in Tatarstan. In the course of reconstruction, construction works were conducted on cleaning of springs and creation of convenient access to the springs for local citizens.
For reference, a social project “Let’s arrange the springs together!” was launched by Efes Rus in 2010 on the territory of the Primorsk Territory, Ulyanovsk and Kaluga regions. In 2012 the project was continued in Tatarstan. At that moment the first 3 springs were arranged in Imenkovo, Malaya Elga and Pelevo villages in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and Administration of Laishevo district of the Republic. All in all, more than 50 springs have been arranged during 4 years of implementation of this project in presence regions of Efes Rus.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
