Today, a topical ecological workshop “Further training of ecological specialists of companies as a factor of enhancement of efficiency of nature protection events” was held today in Kazan in the framework of the 42nd International Symposium IGIP on engineering education. Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ramil Nizamov participated in the workshop.
Ordinary meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today. In the course of the meeting, Chairperson of the Public Council was determined. Andrey Kalayda, Senior Research Worker of Tatar Department of the State Research and Development Institute of Lake and River Fishing was appointed Chairperson. His candidacy was supported by the majority of voices. The relevant order will be prepared in the nearest future.
Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov familiarized with the course of works on cleaning of bitumen at the woodland of Derbyshki village in Kazan. As it was noted, the main part of the territory has already been cleaned. Nevertheless, according to Minister, the most difficult and careful work is ahead, since bitumen is mainly left at hard-to-access places, i.e. among trees. In the nearest future the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan will arrange Saturday work, where bitumen at hard-to-access places will be cleaned manually.
Subject to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, the IV All-Russian Conference on Nature Protection will be held in Moscow during December 2-4, 2013.
The most burning problems of nature protection management, assurance of rational management of natural resources, enhancement of the environment state quality, ecological safety and role of ecology in the national economy, as well as progressive experience of entities of the Russian Federation and foreign countries will be discussed during the conference.

DuringSeptember14 – 21, the All-Russian Nature Protection campaign “Let’s do it together”was held in 80 regions of the Russian Federation. About 1 millionpeopleparticipatedinit. TheMinistryofEcologyand Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan arranged the campaign on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was also supported by municipal districts of the Republic, where cleaning of territories was organized by efforts of administrations and territorial departments under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Officially it is celebrated on September 22.OntheinitiativeoftheMinistryofEcologyofthe Republic of Tatarstan it has been prolonged forone more day, since on Saturdaythe traffic flow naturally decreases. The campaign was supported by the state authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan, municipalities, heads of companies and organizations. All fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan have been using public transportation today. The parking lot for fellow workers is closed today. As it was noted by the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov, today’s state of the air basin of the Republic of Tatarstan raises rather serious fears.
