A contest was announced regarding competition for the All-Russian award

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation holds a contest regarding competition for the All-Russian Award “Ecological development — Evolution Awards”. The award will be presented to Russian and foreign companies, as well as individuals for achievements in the field of “green” technologies, as well as in the field of sustainable development.
In order to determine award winners of “Ecological development — Evolution Awards-2013”, a contest will be organized envisaging 5 categories. A decision on winners will be made by a contest committee under the chairmanship of the Minister for Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Sergey Donskoy. “Three main tasks of the contest include popularization of the ideas of sustainable development on the territory of Russia, encouragement of legal persons and individuals implementing “green” technologies, as well as determination of the tendencies for development of the market of “green technologies”, outlined Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia Rinat Gizaulin ideology of the contest. Competitive bids from runners up will be accepted from October 1 until November 10, 2013. The ceremony for awarding of the contest winners will be held in the framework of the largest Russian ecological events – the IV All-Russian Meeting for Nature Protection, on December 2-4, 2013 at the International Exhibition Center “Crocus Expo”.

As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
As part of the monitoring of the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation.
