The All-Russian ecological public movement "Green Russia" announces the start of preparation for the traditional All-Russian Ecological Saturday work campaign "Green Russia". This year it will be held under the name "The country of my dream!". The large-scale campaign is planned in Tatarstan for the end of August. It will unite fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, volunteers, proponents of ecological movements, as well as representatives of various organizations and companies.
Today, specialists of the Department for Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held an ecological and educational campaign at nursery No. 283 in Vakhitovsky district of Kazan. Ecological specialists together with preschool teachers held master classes for children along with contests, quizzes, and interactive games devoted to the rules of playing outdoors. Moreover, the specialists told the pupils about the World Day of Whales and Dolphins that is celebrated annually on July 23rd. "Such campaigns held by the specialists of the Ministry of Ecology, have become a tradition, - informed Head of the Department of Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations, Damir Valiullin.
An ecological event organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Aviastroitelny district of Kazan. Having equipped themselves with shovels, waste bags and gloves, dozens of young people - volunteers and active participants of the "BUDETCHISTO" movement cleaned the coastal areas of Blue Lake. The team of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the Minister Farid Abdulganiev and representatives of Tatar Branch of the Russian Geographical Society participated in the rafting along the river Ilet' that started in Vysokaya Gora district in Naratlyk village. "I would say that the aim of this let's say ecological expedition is not only to study and develop new possible touristic routes, but, first of all, to study and evaluate the quality of water bodies of Tatarstan. We inspected the shores of the Ilet' to reveal littered sites of the coastal area, although, fortunately, we didn't reveal many of those. We plan on continuing this tactics in the future as well. Tatarstan is a region abundant in water with unique beautiful nature. The Ilet' River is one of the most ecologically clean afluents of the Volga River running for about 220 km. Water routes of the floatable Ilet' are optimal for the beginning amateurs of water tourism", acknowledged the Minister for Ecology Farid Abdulganiev. The river bed is mostly sandy with gently sloping coasts overgrown with coniferous-deciduous forest.

Information about covering of the lake in Boriskovo village was received by the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan. A citizen of Kazan made a photo of KAMAZ trucks and a tractor with state plates, the owners whereof dumped construction waste right into the water body. The area of the lake makes up 7,200 square meters, and, according to the locals, the offenders managed to cover practically 20% of the lake. It turns out that the owner of a nearby house wanted to expand the area of his land plot. According to the Deputy Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Almaz Ismagilov, the offence falls under Article 7.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation and Article 8.13 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
