In Boriskovo, there was an attempt to cover the lake with construction waste Ecological specialists initiated an administrative investigation

Information about covering of the lake in Boriskovo village was received by the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan. A citizen of Kazan made a photo of KAMAZ trucks and a tractor with state plates, the owners whereof dumped construction waste right into the water body. The area of the lake makes up 7,200 square meters, and, according to the locals, the offenders managed to cover practically 20% of the lake. It turns out that the owner of a nearby house wanted to expand the area of his land plot. According to the Deputy Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Almaz Ismagilov, the offence falls under Article 7.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation and Article 8.13 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. Such coverage can lead to depletion and destruction of the lake, informed ecological specialists. Besides a fine, the specialists will estimate the damage inflicted on the water body caused by unauthorized occupation of the water body, its use in breach of the set conditions and violation of the rules for protection of water bodies.
