A meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan

A meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was held at the Ministry regarding draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan "On approval of the rights to use the geological information on mineral resources owned by the Republic of Tatarstan". The Chairperson Andrey Kalayda acknowledged in his welcoming word with regard to the reviewed document: "The document is an important and timely one. For the first time, the owners and recipients of the information have been clearly determined, and the rules of provision of the information have been articulated. Acting Deputy Minister Radik Gaynetdinov told the audience about the rules of provision of the geological information and the aims of this resolution. "The document was elaborated by the Ministry in the context of the requirements of the federal legislation. It was based on the Federal Law and adjusted for the use on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan". The members and experts of the Public Board supported this initiative and voted for the approval of the document. Head of the Department for Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry, Damir Valiullin, informed the audience on the beginning of reception and the terms of filing of the applications to obtain the Award of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for the contribution into development of the civil society institutes in the Republic of Tatarstan and socially oriented non-commercial organizations.
