Ildar Khadyev: "Open Government is the resource that allows to work as a team". The Minister for Nature Use of Bashkortostan studied the experience of work of the colleagues from Tatarstan

The state-of-art and high-tech equipment, the most advanced developments, material and technical resources and information technologies in the work of ecological specialists from Tatarstan were presented today by the Minister for Ecology, Farid Abdulganiev, to his colleague from Bashkortostan. Ildar Khadyev is visiting Kazan to study the experience of experts from the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan. "Your experience is useful both for us and for Russia in general", acknowledged the Minister for Natural Resources and Ecology of Bashkortostan. – “We have been communicating for a long time now with regard to various directions of our activity. We were very much surprised by the information system 'Open Government'. It is that resource that allows all the authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan to involve citizens and municipal authorities into the cause of environmental protection, and owing to that fact Tatarstan is working as one team. Ecology-related matters can't be solved only through the use of fines and sanctions. Activity and involvement of citizens - this is what we really need". According to Ildar Khadyev, the experience of Tatarstan with regard to the establishment of the institute of public ecological inspectors and involvement of young people and public organizations into the cause of nature protection, will be implemented in the Republic of Bashkortostan. "Traditionally, we exchange experience with our neighbors", acknowledged the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan. - "In particular, we familiarized the guest with approaches, techniques and law enforcement practice used by ecological specialists during the Year of Water Protection Areas in the Republic of Tatarstan, demonstrated the water-based equipment allowing to carry out daily activities more operatively and in a more quality manner. By the way, we have a motor boat that can come ashore. All of that is very important, since apart from the results we also need to make sure our activity is efficient. Owing to the new equipment, during only one day, 4 inspectors can inspect 50 km of the coastal band. The matters put on the Ministry's agenda are similar: they include work with large oil-refining and petrochemical companies, and the issues related to the burden placed on the environment in large cities. After we try and test the well￾established practice these days, we are planning on coming forward with the initiative to simplify certain administrative barriers", - informed Farid Abdulganiev. Within the framework of the working visit, the Minister for Nature Use and Ecology of the Republic of Bashkortostan, ldar Khadyev, familiarized with the work of stationary and mobile posts for environment monitoring, in particular, withthe first in Russia and in Tatarstan mobile laboratory equipped with chromatographic and mass spectrometric complex allowing to determine more than 100 thousand pollutants in the air. The complex allows to carry out high-quality assay of 43 pollutants, as well as a qualitative test of more than 100 thousand air pollutants. Press Service of the Ministry
